NSL Marks Ten Years with St Albans with Extension to 2019
5 November 2014
St Albans City and District Council has cemented its long-standing relationship with NSL, the UK’s biggest provider of parking services, with a five year extension. NSL has served the District for ten years, and the extended contract term will run until 2019.
Mark Hoskin, NSL’s Local Government Director, said: “Our team in St Albans has provided the District’s civil enforcement officer services for the past decade. Our colleagues on the ground have demonstrated hard work and dedication in ensuring the town’s roads are as safe and fair for all, whilst maintaining traffic flow.
Councillor Beric Read, Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement and Localism at St Albans City and District Council said: “An extension of this type allows us to save money and introduce new performance standards that should provide better value for the Council. There are benefits to both organisations with this approach. Our team looks forward to working with NSL over the extension period. One of the initiatives we are working on at the moment is to provide specialist training for the parking attendants so that they can help with visitor and tourism enquiries
