NSL has confirmed its corporate membership of the London Transport Museum for the next three years. The move builds on the company’s connections with the capital’s transport infrastructure across many London boroughs and its licensing work for the Transport for London (TfL).
As a Corporate Leader, NSL will have direct access to the exhibition galleries, theatre, and Boardroom at the popular museum housed in the old Grade II listed Flower Market building in Covent Garden Piazza right in the heart of the city. The company will benefit from complimentary tickets to special exhibitions, invitations to ‘private viewings’, and free guided tours for invited guests. All members of staff will also be able to enjoy unlimited free access to the museum.
“We’re absolutely delighted to forge a close working relationship with such a dynamic exhibition venue and progressive charity,” says NSL’s Central Government Director, Nigel Coltman. “The London Transport Museum has a truly impressive collection of fascinating vehicles and memorabilia from nearly 200 years of transportation in one of Europe’s largest and most respected cities. And, with a clear commitment to education and learning, it has truly impressive facilities and a comprehensive and inspirational programme of special events and talks. As a company with very close links to so many areas of the capital, we are looking forward to making use of its excellent facilities, and I’m sure our staff will enjoy taking advantage of free access to one of the city’s most iconic museums.”
As part of its commitment to education, the Museum also offers free entry to anyone under the age of 18. The Museum’s opening times and further information on its exciting programme of special events and talks can be obtained at www.ltmuseum.co.uk.
