NSL Celebrates Latest BTEC Graduates

NSL this week held a ceremony to present its latest cohort of BTEC graduates with their qualification. Thirty people attained their hard won certificate in BTEC Level 2 – Team Leadership.

NSL holds the prized Investor in People Gold accreditation, which demonstrates its heavy investment in learning and development, acknowledging its status as a people business. NSL has led the way within the parking profession for setting and raising standards.

The BTEC Level 2 Team Leadership course is designed to develop the skills of team leaders and supervisors through a structured programme. The course also allows staff members to develop new skills, which will enhance their performance and future careers.

Chief Executive Mark Underwood, said:

“It’s always a real pleasure to see yet another group of colleagues have worked hard to succeed in earning these important qualifications. It is another way in which NSL is improving our expertise to help meet the demands of our clients, as well as empowering our colleagues.“

Throughout their study time students have focussed on team management, health and safety management, leadership and communication, managing change and conflict, and coaching and managing personal development. The ceremony was hosted by Local Government Director, Nigel Coltman, and Training Manager, and Organisation Development Consultant, Ann Farr.
