Nsl Appointed To Run Parking For East Herts Council

NSL has been appointed to run on street parking enforcement for East Herts council.
East Herts is the lead council in a contract which also covers Stevenage and Welwyn and Hatfield District Councils, and will go live in January 2012. It lasts for five years, with an option to extend a further two, for a potential total contract value of around £9 million.
The company expects to TUPE around 40 staff from the current contractor, APCOA.
The new operation will also include cash collection, first-line maintenance of pay and display machines, and patrolling of some off street car parks.
