NSL and BBFI sign Enfield deal to clamp down on Blue Badge fraud
NSL, the UK’s leading parking enforcement company, and the country’s leading investigators of blue badge crime - Blue Badge Fraud Investigations – have signed a deal with Enfield council to reduce abuse of the disabled parking badge scheme in the north London borough.
The new deal is the first NSL and BBFI have signed with a council since the two companies agreed a partnership which means Blue Badge Fraud Investigation will be working exclusively with NSL in the outsourced parking sector. NSL, in turn, are bringing their market-leading resource and expertise to bear in increasing the focus on the reduction of blue badge fraud.
Michael Adewole, NSL general manager, who signed the deal with BBFI, commented: “BBFI have worked with Enfield in the past and they have an enviable record of success. Now that we are working together in a formal partnership I expect that NSL’s on street team will be even more diligent in spotting blue badge misuse, enabling our partners in BBFI to get more of the frauds prosecuted.”
Paul Slowey, founder of BBFI, commented: “Every misused Blue Badge means one less parking space available for a genuinely disabled person. Estimates show almost half a million blue badges are misused across the country.
“This partnership is a winning formula in which all drivers win except the criminals who are fined or/ and banned from driving.”
