NSL retains its professional relationship with Lewisham

NSL, the civil enforcement specialist, has been reappointed by Lewisham Council to continue providing civil parking enforcement and associated services for the borough.

The contract is for an initial term of six years, which is effective from August 2013, with options to extend until 2023.

The relationship between NSL and Lewisham, in South East London, goes back to 2000, when it became the organisation’s first parking enforcement client. This is the second time that NSL has retained the contract.
Nigel Coltman, Director for Local Government Services, said: “Since we were first appointed back in 2000, NSL and Lewisham have continued to build a strong relationship, largely because we have continued to evolve together. Our new appointment demonstrates this, and we are looking forward to entering into a new phase with the Borough.”

Lewisham is a densely populated and vibrant community, and includes the main town centre, Deptford, Catford and Blackheath. As such, Lewisham presents plenty of complex traffic and parking challenges.
Drawing upon the full range of capabilities, NSL has used its expertise and brought to the contract a technology-led approach to compliance. The service has also expanded with the introduction of an in-borough process management facility.
