Civil Enforcement Officers Lend a Hand to Clear Snow

A group of NSL’s Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs), working on behalf of Adur & Worthing Council, took a break from their usual parking enforcement duties today to clear snow from roads and pavements. Sixteen of NSL’s employees rolled up their sleeves to help keep businesses open and traffic moving as the snow set in on the south coast.

Mandy Ainsworth, Parking Services Manager at Adur & Worthing Council, praised the actions of the CEOs. She said: “Parking Services is not only about enforcement – it is also about being part of the local community and assisting in keeping the roads clear. At times like this, we are delighted to be able to be a part of a clear up operation to assist motorists and pedestrians to get back into normal daily life. Ensuring health and safety of the public is paramount and if we only manage to be a small part of that then we have achieved something good.”
