We work in many communities across the UK providing vital services on behalf of councils, the government, hospitals and airports. Supporting these communities is part of our partnering ethos with local teams able to tap into funding to sponsor local events, sports, culture and charities.
We are committed to sustainable and ethical business operations, checking that materials and labour are sourced ethically and making sure our teams get the best deal in the extremely competitive marketplaces we operate in.
In 1911, a young man named Douglas Macmillan watched his father die of cancer. His father's pain and suffering moved Douglas so much, he founded the 'Society for the Prevention and Relief of Cancer'.
Douglas wanted advice and information to be provided to all people with cancer, homes for patients at low or no cost, and voluntary nurses to attend to patients in their own homes.
Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer. We are all affected by cancer. We can all help.

Each year we sponsor the road safety programme which provides road safety advice to primary schools, culminating in a poster competition for which we provide the book token prizes.
We design and operate parking controls in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, one of the key goals of the service to provide a safe environment for vulnerable people, especially outside schools and at junctions.

We are proud to have supported 2013's Magical Taxi Tour.
The Magical Taxi Tour is an annual event giving sick children, like Danielle, a break from their world of treatment and therapy by going on a trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Resort Paris in a convoy of London Taxis.
The tour, organised by The Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, whose self-employed drivers give up their time to help.
